» New Project in Wheaton

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

RS2 Architects has begun a new adaptive reuse project for a 2 story masonry commercial building located in downtown Wheaton. This building was built in 1917 and used as a farm implement showroom. Plans include the conversion of the space for office use, and the removal of the exterior aluminum enclosure stairway. The main office space will include new ADA restrooms and a newly crafted kitchen space by Hummingbird Woodworks. The exterior will include a private brick walled courtyard with fireplace and a new ADA ramp. Construction is underway.
